Firma Barry Callebaut obecna jest na polskim rynku od 30 lat, będąc globalnym liderem w produkcji wysokiej jakości wyrobów czekoladowych i kakaowych.

W łódzkiej fabryce, jednej z największych w Europie należących do Grupy Barry Callebaut, powstaje ulubiony przysmak całego świata - czekolada w formie płynnej i stałej, która trafia zarówno na rynek lokalny, jak i jest eksportowana do innych krajów. Fabryka zatrudnia około 300 osób w obszarach takich jak produkcja, łańcuch dostaw, zapewnienie jakości oraz obsługa klienta.


W 2015 roku firma uruchomiła w Łodzi Centrum Usług Wspólnych (SSC), które, które stało się kluczowym wsparciem dla globalnych operacji Barry Callebaut w obszarach takich jak Finanse, IT, Master Data, Obsługa Klienta, HR oraz Logistyka.


W 2025 roku SSC przeszło transformację tworząc Globalne Centrum Usług Biznesowych (GBS), a zarazem stając się strategicznym hubem kompetencji dla całej Grupy Barry Callebaut. GBS w Łodzi zatrudnia ok 700 osób i odgrywa istotną rolę w transformacji operacyjnej firmy, wspierając jej rozwój i innowacje na skalę międzynarodową.

Po 10 latach nadal się rozwijamy przenosząc kolejne procesy z całego świata do Łodzi.

Skills Developed During the Internship

  1. Data analysis and reporting.
  2. Working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft tools such as Excel and Power BI.
  3. Gaining practical knowledge of procurement, logistics, and inventory management processes.
  4. Collaborating in an international and cross-functional business environment.
  5. Developing problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  6. Building experience in Supply Chain operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
  7. Enhancing communication and stakeholder management skills through cross-departmental cooperation.

 

About the Team:

Our Supply Chain team is at the heart of the business, connecting people, processes, and technology to ensure the right products reach the right place at the right time. We foster innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning while empowering employees to make meaningful contributions every day.

Task range:
  1. Support daily Local Supply Chain operations and administrative activities.
  2. Prepare, maintain, and analyze reports related to inventory, product availability, customer service levels, and order fulfillment.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and help identify potential stock shortages or excess inventory.
  4. Assist in demand planning and supply planning activities by collecting and validating data.
  5. Support the order management process and help resolve operational issues.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Procurement.
  7. Maintain accurate data in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and ensure data quality.
  8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and Supply Chain projects.
  9. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support root-cause analysis for performance gaps.
  10. Prepare presentations and analyses to support business reviews and decision-making.
Skills:
  1. Student or graduate in Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Good understanding of data analysis and reporting.
  4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  7. Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  8. English language skills at a level enabling independent communication in an international and cross-functional environment (minimum B1/intermediate level).
  9. Good communication skills in both English and Polish, ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
  11. Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is a plus, but not required.
